I believe you already know that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has released the long awaited names of candidates shortlisted for the screening Exercise. The list was released when the NDLEA Spokesman, Deputy Commander of Narcotics (DCN) announced in Abuja.

Well, if you are here, you have surely checked the list. Congratulations to all those who saw their names on the list and also to those who did not find their names on it. You can still try again when next the NDLEA opens its recruitment portal and starts taking applications.

Be aware that your job is not yet complete even if you have found your name on the list. In as much as you have not been handed your appointment letter, then it means there is something else for you to do. You should have an idea of what it is.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency made it known to the New Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that candidates who find their names on the list of shortlisted candidates are to present themselves at the screening and documentation venue. Do you know where the screening will hold and what time it will? I guess you don’t! That’s why you are here. And I will make everything known to you.

But before going deep into that, let us see what the screening Exercise entails and what you stand to gain from it.

The Agency explained to us that the screening exercise is very different from the aptitude test that was conducted in December 2019 and January 2020.

We are made to know that the screening will involve a documentation exercise, whereby candidates’ documents will be verified for the last time and put into records.

The spokesman of the NDLEA mentioned that successful candidates will be issued letters of appointment and will be documented immediately upon successful screening.

Candidates are to come to the screening venue with the following;

• Originals and photocopies of academic credentials
• Guarantors’ forms
• Birth certificate or Age declaration
• Indigeneship Certificate
• Certificate of medical fitness from an approved and accredited government hospital or clinic.
• A pair of shorts, T shirts, canvass, stocking, disposable nose masks and hand sanitizer.

It later came to our notice that candidates have been divided into four different groups for the screening. This is one of the measures to curtail the spread of the coronavirus disease.

Where will the  NDLEA Screening Exercise hold?

The screening Exercise will take place at the NDLEA Academy, Citadel Counter- Narcotics Nigeria (CCNN) Katton-Rikkos, His Plateau State. The above address is where all shortlisted candidates must report to for the screening Exercise.

Shortlisted Candidates who do not want to miss their appointment into the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) are advised not to miss this screening and documentation exercise.

What is the date and time of the  NDLEA Screening?

The date of the Screening and documentation exercise has been fixed . Candidates are to report to the screening at 0900 hours daily.

However, shortlisted candidates are to arrive at the academy a day before the screening and documentation exercise.
