The Federal University of Technology, Akure, was established in 1981 and now holds a top position on the list of the best Universities of technology in the country, Nigeria.

FUTA post UTME REQUIREMENT AND APPLICATION PROCESS

Like in other schools, there are certain requirements you must meet to be considered eligible for an admission into the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

1. The journey to your eligibility begins with your UTME score. If you scored 180 or above in the UTME, then, you have passed the first eligibility criteria.
2. The next eligibility criteria is for you to have, during your UTME registration, selected the school as your first choice.
3. Your O’level result also determines whether you’ll be eligible. Your O’level result has to have a minimum of 5 credit including Mathematics and English Language for you to be considered for the screening excercise. You can combine not more than two O’level result to meet this requirement.
4. Becasue it is a school of Technology, you, as a candidate must have nothing less than a pass in Physics.
5. More so, if you applied to FUTA with “awaiting result” you most likely would not be considered for admission into the University.
6. Most importantly, you have to participate in the Post UTME screening to be considered.

How to Apply for FUTA post UTME 2022/2023

If you meet the above enlisted requirement, then proceed to pay the sum of two thousand naira at any bank via Remitta platform.

• This would give you the Post UTME form. In case you’re wondering how to go about the payment of the money, head over to the school’s website at www.futa.edu.ng

• and log in with your UTME number.

• Once you’ve logged in, generate RRR, make payment via your card on the remitta platform and confirm that the payment is successful.

• Once it is successful, you’ll be able to access the form.

• Fill the form and submit.

• It should be noted that you should supply your full name on the post UTME form the same way it is on your UTME registration.

• Also, do not forget to print out your copy of the completed form as it would be necessary during the screening process.

• Architecture, Estate Management and Industrial Design;

Faculty of Management Technology-

• Project Management Technology, Transport Management Technology and Entrepreneurship Management Technology and,

Finally,

the Faculty of Science-

Consist of nine departments including:

• Statistics, Computer science and Mathematical Sciences.

It is important to be aware of the course you wish to study as well as the school you wish to apply to learn the course.

This would help you know if the school offers the course or not. For instance, if you are looking to pick up a course in the field of arts and design, FUTA is most definitely the wrongest place for you to be in. This is why it is a University of Technology.
