Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) School Fees Schedule for 2022/2023

Nonetheless, there are still some federal universities whose overall or total school fees is not too expensive for an average citizen to afford. These universities are known for their affordable school fees and quality education. One of them is the Federal University, Oye Ekiti.

History

Popularly known as FUOYE, this federal university is located in Oye, Ekiti state. It was launched in 2011 during Goodluck Jonathan’s reign as the president of Nigeria, and it has developed into a well-known university in the Southwest region of the country.

Thousands of secondary school graduates are seeking admission into the institution due to the quality education it delivers to students.

Its smooth academic calendar, conducive learning environment, state-of-the-art learning facilities and quality professors are equally reasons why parents and guardians rate the institution very high.

Faculties

The institution has seven falculties and they are on the verge of adding three other falculties — such as Basic Medical Science, Pharmacy and Law — to the available facilities before the end of the year. The available falculties include the following:

  • The Faculty of Arts/Humanities
  • The Faculty of Social Sciences
  • The Faculty of Engineering

School Of Postgraduate Studies

Apart from offering postgraduate programmes, FUOYE is engaged in post-graduate programmes. It established its school of postgraduate studies in 2018 and it is one of the fast-growing venues for post-graduate individuals in Nigeria and beyond.

First Graduation And Convocation Ceremony

Just as you would expect, FUOYE had its first set of graduates in 2015, four years after its launching ceremony. In 2017, the university recorded another milestone as it held its first convocation ceremony which took place in the school premises.

School Campus

The school has two campuses. The first one is located in Ikole-Ekiti, while the second one is in Oye. Therefore, students have the chance to choose the campus that is more convenient and conducive.

Just like all other universities in Nigeria, you must score nothing less than 160 in your UTME exam (Jamb).

We gathered that FUOYE cut-off mark for this year’s (2020/21) academic session hasn’t been confirmed by the concerned authorities. However, it is believed that every department has its own cut-off mark and none of them is below 160.
