If you partook in the 2021 Nigerian Airforce application exercise, then this is for you. Do not skip it. Submitting an Application into the Airforce does not determine that you are now a recruit. The shortlisted candidates are hereby invited to attend the year 2021/2022 Nigerian Airforce Airmen/Airwomen Recruitment Selection Interview at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Kawo, Kaduna. This selection process will be in form of a physical interview.
You will be invited to meet with a panel who will determine if you are fit for the programme. Kindly note that the physical interview is not a guarantee for your recruitment. It is only yet another stepping stone.
Now what should you do, as an applicant into the Nigerian Airforce. I will show you everything you need to know about that in the next paragraph. But first, you must check if you have been shortlisted for the screening.
How do I know if I have been shortlisted for the Screening? 2021/2022
To know if you have been shortlisted for the interview at the Airforce base in Kaduna, you must check the Shortlisted Candidates list, which will be available for download at the end of this article.

I have been shortlisted, what next?
The next thing is to go for the physical screening. Don’t rush it! Do not just go there anytime or anyhow you like. There are batches for the Physical screening. This batches have been organised in respect to the candidate’s state.
There are 6 batches for the 2021 Nigerian Air Force Physical Screening. Let us see these batches and the state under them.
After confirming your name is on the list, Try to decode your Batch from what I have written here. For example, I’m from Lagos State, and I was shortlisted. I fall under Batch F.
When is the 2021 Nigerian Airforce Airmen/Airwomen interview?
The Nigerian Airforce has released the names of the shortlisted candidates for the 2021 Recruitment Interview. This news was released by the Chief of Air Staff few days ago. The names of the shortlisted candidates have been compiled into a document.
The interview will hold from the 24th September to 12th November, 2020. Are you surprised? Don’t be. Like I said earlier, the interview will hold in batches. Every batch has its own date for screening. I will show you now.
Note: Nose masks are to be worn and other covid 19 preventive measures are to be Strictly observed throughout the exercise.
Where will the Airforce Recruitment Interview hold?
The 2021 Nigerian Airforce Interview venue will be the Nigerian Air Force Base at Kawo, Kaduna state.
What do I need to go with for the Airforce Interview?
When coming for the Recruitment Screening, candidates are to report with the following;
- Originals and photocopies of their credentials
- 2 white vests
- 2 blue PT shorts
- One pair of canvas shoes
- 4 recent passport photographs
- Nose masks
- Hand sanitizer
In summary, this is all you need to do;
- Download the PDF of the shortlisted candidates names.
- Check for your name. Kindly note that one of your names is not a confirmation. So, you have to check for your firstname, middle name and last name.
- If you find your name there, proceed to ascertain your Batch.
- Go to the Screening venue on the date of your interview.
It is advisable to go to the state a day before your allocated date. This will help prevent unnecessary delays, which can be considered as indiscipline by the Air Force.
