The Nigerian Defence Academy has kept to her words by releasing the list of successful candidates who participated in the just concluded Screening Test that was held few weeks ago.

The list of successful candidates has been published online on the official portal or website of the Nigerian Defence Academy @ www.nda.edu.ng or www.ndaapplications.net

These portal remains the only portal to access your names and also check if you are successful.NDA List

You will also get valuable information like when you are to report for the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB).

It’s been said that any of the successful candidates that couldn’t make it to the screening ground should find himself to be blame. Hence its very important for you all to get your self prepared and attend.

Secondly its important for you to note the Batch you fall into and the date set aside for you. If whatever reason you showed up on a date not set aside for you, this could make the board to disqualify you.

Your logistics has already been planned. Don’t worry about food and where relaxed and cool off while on ground.

Your bed space, hostel and everything that has to do with your accommodation will be taken care off.

Why you should attend NDA screening exercise (AFSB)

It is very compulsory for all successful candidates to participate in the screening exercise.

The screening exercise will help them have a thorough look on your certificates/credentials, not only that they are to check your medical and physical fitness tests to determine if you are really fit to undergo the rigorous training that comes with your stay.

This screening is a factor that decides if you will continue or leave hence you should put in your best as candidates that fails their test will be shown the exit door

Note

Things to bring along :

You should bring along your original and 2 photocopies each of the under listed documents:

  • Your JAMB UTME Result Slip of this year.
  • Your Acknowledgement Form and NDA Screening Test Admission Card.
  • You should also bring your Academic Certificates like Statements of Result and Testimonials for Primary and Secondary Schools (Junior and Senior).
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, preferably Birth Certificate is required, so bring them along.
  • Letter of Attestation of State/Local Government Indigeneship duly signed by the SSG or Chairman of Local Government, as the case may be.
  • Certification obtained from a military officer who is from your state . This should not be any officer but a Lieutenant Colonel and above. You can get this person from the Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Air Force.

Remember that the above can be used in place of Local Government Indigeneship Certificate.

Please note that the identity of the officer is needed, so ask him or her to indicate his or her formation/unit, appointment, contact address, phone numbers and e-mail address. It’s important that he or she should affix formation/unit stamp and sign.

  • You should get a Letter of Consent mostly from your Parent/Guardian.

Successful candidates are requested to download both the Attestation and Letter of Consent Forms from the NDA applications portal/NDA website, make sure you complete it as requested.

Make sure you bring all documents, without those documents it will be very difficult to get you pass the screening phase.

Successful applicants are advised to bring along the following items:

Relevant Writing materials.

  1. Get at least 3 blue shorts and 3 white (round-neck) T-shirts.
  2. You are advised to get A pair of white canvas shoes and 3 pairs of white socks.
  3. Necessary Toiletries for your convenient.
  4. Being your fee of N2,500.00 each, for the purpose of verification/confirmation of results at WAEC/NECO, remember that this money is Non-refundable
  5. Bring a Scratch cards for WAEC and/or NECO results, this will be used to check your results online.
  6. Other items are 4 recent coloured passport photographs.
  7. The second copy of Postcard Photograph that was presented and endorsed at the Exam Centre during the NDA Screening Test.
  8. Get your Transportation money, this wil be used for your exit from Kaduna.
  9. Lastly, your Face mask is needed.
